Eye Shadows
Natural & Organic Eyeshadow - Eyeshadow can add depth and dimension to ones eyes, can make ones eyes seem larger, can compliment one's eye colour or simply draw attention to the eyes.
There are a few general guidelines to applying eye shadow well, but of course this depends on how you want to shade and shape your eye:
The lightest color usually works well as a brow bone highlighter.
The second lightest color usually looks good on your lid.
The second darkest color usually works best in your crease.
The darkest color usually works best in your outer corner.
Often we have trouble deciding what colour to choose to match our eyes. It is actually not necessary to match eye colour so much as choosing an opposite colour on the colour wheel so that you draw attention to your eyes. Blue eyes should consider the different shades of orangey colours such as peach or soft melon. Green and hazel eyes are complimented by strong, warm colours such as chocolate browns and colors found in sunsets, while people with brown eyes can wear nearly any shade they choose, since their eyes are a neutral color.
